Gov: Ozon to build 3.5 bln rbl distribution center in Orenburg
UFA, Feb 14 (PRIME) -- Russian marketplace Ozon will start building a large distribution and storage center with a preliminary investment of 3.5 billion rubles in the special economic zone in the Southern Urals city of Orenburg, the region’s Governor Denis Pasler said on Tuesday on Telegram.
“The business opportunities created in the Orenburg Region attract new investors. One of the largest Russian marketplaces Ozon has confirmed its intention to build in the Orenburg Region the largest distribution and storage center,” Pasler said.
At the first stage, the center will cover 65,000 square meters and 43,000 square meters will be added later. The project will create about 3,000 jobs.
The construction will start in April–June.
